The Firm accepts personal injury and wrongful death cases on a contingency fee basis only, which means that you do not have to pay a fee or costs unless there is a recovery, whether through settlement or trial. Medical Malpractice/Wrongful Death

The Firm handles wrongful death and personal injury claims due to the negligence of others. This includes auto and motorcycle accidents, slip and fall, and other accidents. The Firm also handles wrongful death and injuries caused by medical mistakes. Wrongful death caused by medical malpractice has hit records numbers. Every five minutes a new victim dies of medical incompetence. Medical errors in hospitals, doctors’ offices, and clinics are on the rise. Managed care and HMOs have become slaves to the insurance companies’ bottom line and deny adequate care on a daily basis. Every month, three times the amount of wrongful deaths occur from medical negligence than the tragedy of 9/11 and yet there is no outcry for these victims. Families are left with questions and no answers. Worse yet, there are often cover-ups and forging of medical records after the fact. Apologies or explanations are never given. Hospitals rarely accept blame. Ruthless insurers force victims’ families to turn to the courts for justice. If your loved one has been the victim of wrongful medical death, call us. Medical malpractice errors are responsible for 98,000 wrongful deaths each year, and many more serious injuries. There are more medical malpractice deaths from medical mistakes each year than from all U.S. highway deaths. Medical errors are the eighth leading cause of wrongful death in the United States. Medical errors occur due to multiple reasons including, among other things: shortage of registered nurses, excessive demands on emergency rooms, medication errors, wrong-site surgery, miscommunication among healthcare providers, and for many other reasons.

Nursing Home Negligence

The most common types of nursing home neglect and abuse are malnutrition, dehydration, pressure sores, infections, falls, burns, and assaults. These injuries and deaths are often caused by nursing shortages, poor training or dissatisfaction by the nursing homes’ employees. If you or your loved ones are victims of neglect or abuse in a nursing home or residential facility, there are probably other residents in the facility who are also being neglected or abused; in fact, there is probably a continuing pattern of neglect at the facility.
